Job Description

Business Development

· Conduct outbound and inbound business development and create marketing qualified sales accepted leads (SAL)

· Schedule discovery meetings for account executives and prospects

· Interact regularly with Field Sales to discuss the lead qualification process, and recommend improvements

· Maintain daily activities in the system of record, tracking interactions with prospects and customers


· Execute marketing activities and programs to drive pipeline generation and awareness

· Assist in field marketing activities, including events, sponsorships, paid media, webinars and more, to showcase customer success and demonstrate the value of MicroStrategy to support customer retention and new customer acquisition

· Collaborate closely with the Field Sales team in the respective territory to build a plan that aligns with their goals and priorities


· Prior business development experience and filed marketing experience preferred

· Strong telephone and prospecting (cold-calling) skills

· Experience in working within a customer-focused sales environment with a strong understanding of sales channels and market segments

· Strong communicator and good interpersonal skills. Highly skilled in social media platforms like LinkedIn Social Selling and Bomb Bomb

· Understanding of enterprise software/B2B high-tech industry is a plus

· Experience with preferred

· BS degree required
