Forsight is a for-purpose organisation that provides supported group home accommodation and 24 7 care for people with sensory impairments. With our valued clients in mind we are seeking to add Team Leaders to lead our homes located at Blacktown, Kings Langley and Westmead. Reporting to the Home Services Manager, this role will encompass a direct support worker role, responsible for the direct active support of Forsight clients and the delivery of their person-centred goals, as well as 2 dedicated days a week of Team Leader responsibilities, providing assistance with the management of the home. Your duties will include Checking notes and incidents reviews closures within our client management system Rostering of staff Assistance with Supported Independent Living documentation Assistance with Restricted Practice Authorisation RPA submission and reporting Client goal preparation and reporting Assistance in recruitment processes Supervising induction and probation for new team members Accounts reconciliations and invoice approvals Our ideal candidate must have High resilience The ability to build relationships easily and be approachable The initiative to work autonomously Excellent organisational skills and time management The ability to work seamlessly between a support role and a team leader role A think outside the box mentality, be innovative, and committed to the day to day support and management of the home A commitment to support our clients using a person-centred approach under the active support model The ability to see the potential in our clients and show the initiative and required sensitivity to empower our clients in their day-to-day living experiences Enjoy working in a team as well as independently Demonstrated skills and experience in working with people with a disability and or related qualifications Availability to work across a 24 7 roster including and as part of our after hours on-call roster It is ESSENTIAL you hold the following Right to work in Australia Current first aid certificate Current valid driver s license A cleared NDIS Worker Screening Minimum Cert III in Disability and or related discipline currently undertaking studies or completed OR a minimum 6 months experience in a similar field In addition, we require the following skills Experience with rostering, systems and administrative tasks An in-depth knowledge of NDIS, including SIL funding and the ability to prepare required documentation, promptly follow up and provide accurate feedback Knowledge of Restrictive Practice and the associated reporting processes At Forsight we understand that our people are our greatest asset.
