About the role The Manager Diversity Inclusion is a key leadership role within the Community Partnerships and Diversity program area, working to promote and create a safe and inclusive service and workplace for both the community and staff. The work focuses on individuals and communities experiencing poorer health and wellbeing outcomes due to systemic and institutional discrimination. The role has direct line management responsibilities and reports to the Senior Manager, Community Partnership and Diversity, and will be fixed-term for 12 months. Your daily duties will vary but your main focus will include Lead the development, implementation, evaluation and reporting on the Diversity and Inclusion Strategy. Collaborate with relevant staff and community as required to drive the work. Build the capacity of cohealth staff to understand and be involved in diversity and inclusion work. Some of the key deliverables for the 12-month role will include cohealth's stretch reconciliation action plan cohealth's new Disability Inclusion plan Rainbow tick accreditation Acknowledgement of significant days Inclusion Champion Initiative Additional information can be obtained from the attached position description. About you Identifies as a Person of Colour Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander First Nations and or has considerable experience meaningfully and deeply engaging culturally diverse, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and or LGBTQIA communities Appropriate postgraduate qualification e.g. public health, social science or similar Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously and inspire, motivate and manage multi-function teams and intersectoral partnerships Demonstrated experience in leading diversity and inclusion activities Exceptional communication and liaison skills with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures and capabilities Exemplary written communications skills Demonstrated commitment to equity Application process Click on apply now to be directed to our careers page.
