    • The company:

    Randstad has been exclusively engaged to recruit for an innovative and growing manufacturing business based in the North Western Sydney area surrounding Marsden Park. Due to substantial business growth and expansion the business is seeking a vibrant and energetic Finance Manager/ Finance Business Partner/Site Accountant to take ownership of the total accounting process and provide strategic and operational value through analysis and partnership.

    The Role:

    Reporting to the COO, this position boasts the ability for the successful applicant to be the key member of finance which takes full ownership of the accounting with the support of a small team. The role demands someone with strong Business partnering and analytical capabilities and experience. Given this is a manufacturing site, someone who has worked in a Site Accountant or Finance Business Partner capability with the capability to complete all statutory finance requirements for the business. Responsibilities of the role include, however are not limited to:

  • Responsible for all financial accounting for all business entities (balance sheets, P&L, cash flow statements, GL)
  • Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements according to Australian accounting standards
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset and Asset Register
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Preparation of Budgets and Forecasts for all entities on a quarterly basis
  • Lead Year end process
  • Preparation of tax returns and lodgement of BAS in consultation with external accountants
  • Payroll Tax
  • Variance Analysis, KPI Analysis, Partnering with operations of the business

    • Candidate Profile:

  • CPA Qualification preferred (but not essential)
  • Strong Excel skills is a must. Familiarity V-lookups and Pivot tables
  • Familiarity with Power BI
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) with excellent stakeholder management
  • Prior experience in a similar role (such as Site Accountant, Cost Accountant, Management Accountant with statutory reporting experience.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on professional development
  • Someone not afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck into the work
