About the role Join a thriving branch as part of the Production Planning team. You will drive daily operations to support the planning, coordinating and monitoring of the production and despatch plan. You will be an essential point of contact for our schedulers, production and logistics staff, where you will deliver on critical outcomes each day. Liaising with Shop floor, Scheduling team and Customer Service Officers, to obtain forecasts of future production Allocate workload and negotiate timeframes for programmed deliveries Ongoing communication with the production and logistics team to monitor production capabilities to plan accordingly Managing expectations of stakeholders at all levels, to ensure a consistent production and delivery function Driving continuous improvement across the business unit, to support high performance and quality standards. About your experience It s important that you have a can-do attitude and reprioritise as the day progresses managing large projects and day to day retail customers. You will gain valuable exposure to a vibrant production hub where no two days are the same. You will work within a welcoming and high performing team of passionate people where it is easy to see the successful outcomes of your actions. Future training and development opportunities in operations, planning or scheduling are all very much supported within the business. Other essential experience and capabilities include Logistics, building materials or industrial manufacturing experience 3 years minimum experience in Production Planning or Inventory management Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Symic would be an advantage Demonstrated passion for outcomes. Ability to make effective decisions within set parameters. Ability to work within a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong influencing and negotiating skills. Proven problem solving and process improvement skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
