Associate Nurse Unit Manager Day Surgery Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the leadership team of our fast-paced Day Surgery Unit at Warringal Private Hospital. About the Role In this role you will be joining our dynamic Day Surgery unit offering 18 post-op beds, 2 endoscopy rooms and 4 recovery bays to our patients. You will directly plan, review and implement care for patients undergoing and recovering from endoscopic and day procedures. You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager in the efficient management of staff and resources within the clinic ensuring achievement of excellence in care delivery in line with policies and procedures, best practice and legislative requirements. You will also be required to oversee the activities of the unit when the Nurse Unit Manager is absent. You will be mentoring and leading a passionate team of nurses and clinical support staff alongside a supportive leadership team so this role will suit an individual driven to help others succeed. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. You will bring a capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and act as a passionate mentor. You will also bring Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. 3 years experience in acute care nursing will be essential for this role. Endoscopy experience will be required for this role. Specialty experience in a Day Surgery Unit or team will be highly regarded, though not essential. The flexibility to handle a rotating weekly roster is essential for this role. Remuneration On offer is an annual salary of 97,653.92 Superannuation.
