The Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties to recruit, screen, hire, train, engage, and retain a knowledgeable, skilled and experienced pool of professional CAREGivers to provide quality care services to meet the needs of all our clients. Working alongside our Training and Mentoring Manager, you will primarily be responsible for Conduct and manage new employee on- boarding and off boarding processManage end-to-end recruitment processes as required including contract execution, interviews and pre employment checksFacilitate and conduct performance management matters, annual reviews, grievances and other investigations associated with employee relations mattersProvide advice and guidance to staff and managers regarding awards, policies, procedures and WHS legislationPrepare HR documentation as required and maintain accurate employee recordsAttend to and resolve HR enquiries concerns complaintsCoordinate and conduct staff orientationPrepare and plan quarterly newsletters and CAREGiver meetingsFacilitate and conduct various HR projects pertaining to employee engagement, retention, training and performanceThis role is well suited for a HR Generalist with a passion in recruitment and performance management. Immediate start available.ESSENTIAL CRITERIADiploma Degree in Human Resources, or equivalent combination of work experience in a similar role and industry experienceMinimum 2 years experience in end to end recruitment, retention and performance managementKnowledge of employment relations legislation e.g. Fair Work Act Excellent communication skills, including highly effective inter-personal skills, and strong judgement and assessment skills to be able to assess applications and conduct interviews and annual performance reviewsAn ethical approach to your work, being self-motivated and someone who enjoys achieving results both individually and as part of a teamHigh level administrator with business management skills including a high level of computer literacy and accurate data entry skillsBe structured in your thinking and be a problem solver who provides solutions to issues challengesBe self-motivated and outcome orientated, with the capacity to deal with multiple and at times conflicting prioritiesExperience in the Aged Care, Disability or Community Sector will be highly regardedCert IV in Training and Assessment highly regarded Please ensure you submit a cover letter with your CV outlining the selection criteria Short listed applicants will be required to consent to a police check.Closing date for applications 25.04.2021Report this job advert
