As a result of this, we have recognised the need to stand up a Portfolio Management Office to act as a central point of coordination and communication between these strategic programs and our impacted Finance teams.Job DescriptionThe purpose of the Finance Transformation Portfolio Manager is to provide the portfolio and program management office, governance and coordination to all projects within the Finance streams of work. You will define SEEK PMO standards, tools, frameworks and templates and embed a strong communication and engagement model with key Finance stakeholders. You will work with the SEEK Technology PMO to ensure that a community of strong Project Delivery Practice is embraced within Finance.The Portfolio Manager must be agile and able to adapt to evolving needs of the portfolio that meet deadlines, sustain high quality outputs, marshal broad expertise towards common objectives, and have a meticulous approach to project engagement and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver against core portfolio management activities across the Finance portfolio of projects including Ensuring project and programme investment processes are embedded across the organisationEnsuring projects and programmes contribute to strategic Finance objectives and prioritiesAllocating the right resources to the right projects and programmesResolve conflicts resources, technical, business requirements between projects and programmesAnalysing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.Monitor performance of projects and programmes against key objectivesEnsure effective project delivery through the provision of daily portfolio, program and project support including quality, controls, standards, tools and templates QualificationsA Project Management Professional PMP Certification is advantageousSubstantial experience leading project, program or portfolio management offices for a Finance departmentDirect or indirect people leader experienceSound knowledge of a variety of project management and agile practices, tools, software, and frameworksAble to work with, add value to and influence at all across SEEK geographiesProvides a further voice and perspective at the leadership table.Identifies opportunities to build relationships that will help others achieve their objectives and reaches out to those people or new people.Strong commercial and operational acumen with a proven record in dealing with suppliers.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including reporting and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to quickly breakdown problems and find innovative solutions.Excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
