  • The Role

    Programmed Industrial Maintenance is currently seeking Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers to join our crew for a Major Outage at Tronox in Chandala from 8th April to 7th May 2021 – pre shut shifts available.

    Successful applicants will have previous mine site or refinery experience, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety.

    What you need to know:

  • DIDO Daily to Tronox Chandala in Muchea – North East of Perth
  • $55.00 per hour inclusive of loading
  • Travel Paid
  • 12 hour shifts on offer
  • Both day and night shifts available
  • Great team environment

  • Skills, Experience and Attributes
    the ideal candidate will possess the following;

  • Australian Recognized Trade Certificate
  • Current nationally accredited Working at Heights ticket within 3 years of issue.
  • Current nationally accredited Confined Space ticket within 3 years of issue.
  • High risk qualifications are highly regarded although not essential (Forklift, Elevated work platform, Rigging).
  • Previous mining and / or shutdown experience.
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • A commitment to diversity and inclusion.

  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction is delivered to the client.
  • A pro-active approach to resolving issues and excellent attention to detail.
