The ideal candidate has an interest in beer, in particular international beers and a background in the wholesale or hospitality industry either with liquor or sales experience.The successful candidate will also enjoy getting out of their comfort zone, have an entrepreneurial spirit and do well with autonomy.The role will be an exciting blend of both on and off-premise and will touch all facets of the market. The Successful Applicant Will Hold Australian citizenship or have an up to date permanent working visa, Be organised, with strong communication skills and an eye for detail, Have strong relationship building and networking skills, Have the ability to identify opportunities and close sales, Willingness to learn and share in skill building with the team, Possess strong negotiation skills, Have the ability to problem solve and think laterally, Possess some knowledge and interest for craft beer and or wine spirits, Hold a current NSW driver s license and RSA.Experience in a similar role is an advantage and an ability to work autonomously is a must. Key Responsibilities Include Maintaining and growing opportunities within existing outlets as well as expanding your territory and customer base, To set up, activate and attend events in your territory that promote the Heron Beverages portfolio, To increase distribution and visibility of the Heron Beverages portfolio in NSW, Conducting regular on-premise and online tastings and product training sessions, To deliver on monthly sales targets and product quotas, Some travel may be required.
