NBH is a fully licensed private hospital providing services to both public and private in and out patients by exceptional nurses, doctors, allied and support staff. The Staffing Administration Officer is responsible in partnership with the Staffing Coordinator for the development and management of a highly skilled nursing and midwifery relief workforce of agency and casual staff. The position holder recruits and manages agency and casual staff with responsibility for ensuring the best use of staff to meet workforce needs. The position holder ensures training and performance development needs of the agency and casual staff are met, providing support for clinical units and is responsible for working with N MUM's, to ensure that a highly flexible and skilled workforce is available to meet the operational needs. As the Staffing Administration Officer you will make an impact by recruiting, credentialing and allocating nursing, midwifery and locum doctor agency staff across the hospitalsupporting management in the planning and delivery of nursing and midwifery agency staff to meet service requirementsensuring the practical application of policies, guidelines and protocols for the employment, and allocation of nursing and midwifery staffproviding generalist and operational support, information and advice on nursing and midwifery agency staff recruitment and rosteringproviding administrative support As a high performing team member you will have Experience as a Registered Nurse would be beneficial or prior experience within a hospital setting with a Certificate III in Health Administration.Ability to perform a wide range of administrative functions, ensuring compliance with processes, policies and standards.Experience in rostering - this is a fast paced rostering environmentDemonstrated ability to work at a high level of effectiveness autonomously and as part of a teamProven time management and organisational skills with the ability to complete a variety of competing tasks and meet deadlines.Skills to communicate effectively and concisely in both written and verbal methods and give clear directionsSuccess at building relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external and a commitment to providing high quality customer service.Ability to critically analyse information and prepare clear concise reports.High level computer, data entry and keyboard skills and with advanced knowledge of excel.Your colleagues can vouch that you Are passionate about delivering exceptional customer serviceRespect and work well with others to achieve goalsAct with integrity and show care for the people you work withEmbrace change and seek ways to improve serviceAre motivated by personal growth and accountability.
