What will I be doing Based in Bundaberg your primary responsibility will be to provide mechanical technical advice to support the operational needs of the region. As the technical specialist you will also support the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance programs. As a trusted people leader, you will foster a team culture of collaboration and performance through mentoring, inspiring and empowering your colleagues. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will work collaboratively with the other work groups to maximise the performance, safety and integrity of the region s assets to meet our customer needs. Our Bundaberg team are passionate about the Burnett and Lower Mary region. Seeing the region develop as a environmentally and economically sustainable oasis for residents and local businesses is a goal that drives the performance of all members of the team. What are we looking for We are seeking an experienced mechanical leader with demonstrated knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principals. With a proven track record of success in tactical management, operation and maintenance of infrastructure assets to maximise performance and reliability. You would have proven ability in driving a performance based culture, coaching and motivating a technical team of direct reports. In addition you will be able to demonstrate leadership qualities to influence and work collaboratively locally and across all our locations. Integral to your success will be your well-developed interpersonal skills to work effectively with a broad stakeholder group, and your practical project and contract management experience.
