Our Federal Government client is a major provider of national health care systems and requires the services of two APS6 contractors for a period to January 2022 with an extension likely. The duties may include Supporting high-end policy and analysis, particularly in relation to reformsSupporting implementation of Review Taskforce recommendationsWorking closely with various stakeholders to progress funding reform Providing project management support to projects from committees and implementing new policyWorking collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomesAttending various forums as part of the review, including organising and attending stakeholder meetings as requiredDrafting concise and clear agenda papers, briefs and minutesProviding secretariat and administrative support to the section as requiredProviding advice to executive including producing minutes, briefs and ministerial submissionsAssisting with the drafting and provision of sound policy and strategic planning adviceSupporting and undertaking research to inform briefing and options Management of significant stakeholder relationships with peak groups, as well as a range of craft speciality groups and other representative bodies.Supporting parliamentary documentation and contribute to budget processesWhat you will bring to the role Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills, including sound judgement and the ability to interpret informationAbility to manage competing priorities and quickly pick up and progress a variety of different work streams when requiredSelf-motivated with the demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a teamExcellent communication, liaison and negotiation skills, including strong written skillsThe ability to quickly acquire an understanding of new subject matterA clinical background and or experience in policy development would be an advantageOur client would like to fill these roles as soon as possible so please register your interest by clicking on the APPLY NOW button and submit your Microsoft Word resume today.
