We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our Stockland Merrylands Team based in Sydney. This is a full-time permanent role working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will also be required to work one Saturday per month as Site Duty Manager, day to be taken back in lieu. The Opportunity As the Facilities Manager, you will organise and coordinate the operational management of the Centre whilst containing expenditure within budget. Ensure the proper and efficient operation of the asset physical aspects, creating and sustaining a safe and productive environment for the occupants. Some of your duties will include Assume responsibility for the operation and presentation of the Centre Assist with operational and capital expenditure budgets manage capital works including tenancy delivery works Manage the supply chain ensuring agreed standards of service delivery are met and the delivery of the service is cost effective. Contribute to performance reporting requirements Assume responsibility for any processes and procedures related to the delivery of a safe, compliant, well maintained, and sustainable Centre Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholder groups while developing and maintaining appropriate industry relationships Promote and ensure full compliance with Stockland s OH S policies Establish and drive improvement programs to optimise the assets waste and energy, and water usage Identify and implement organisational improvement initiatives and OH S improvements Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all occupants. About You You will ideally bring Diploma in Facilities Management or Bachelor in the related field Strong Retail operations experience Solid expertise in safety and compliance will be crucial to have to be successful in this role You will have a strong client service focus with outstanding relationship management skills You will have strong project management experience You will be an influencer with excellent communication and organisational skills You will have a positive attitude, demonstrate ability to learn and adapt, and take accountability The Stockland Proposition At Stockland we are a community delivering outcomes that benefit the community at large.
