Working primarily with State and Local Governments Australia wide, we are renowned for our high quality and high energy project execution. Common Ground Trails requires another awesome team member to meet existing and growing demand for our services, and to help us implement and execute best practice financial and management systems and processes. As a key leader in the organisation, the Administration Finance Manager reports to the Director and is required to lead and manage all financial and administration requirements. With one direct report and working intimately with the Director, Operations Manager, Marketing Manager and Bid Manager, you will have an open and friendly personality combined with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude. Responsibilities include Bookkeeping duties including management of all functions of accounts payable and receivables, monthly reconciliations, payroll, financial reporting, BAS, Superannuation and cashflow managementProject assistance including project setup, reporting, procurement and client data managementManagement of the Organisation s funding, finance, reporting, budgeting, modelling and forecastingProviding and completing information for the preparation of leads, quotes and tendersIT and software implementation and managementBusiness improvement works including formulation and implementation of plans, policies, procedures and processes.Business management including records management, assets register management and insurance schedules and claimsPrepare and present reports to key internal management - summarise and forecast business activity, income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and expected operations.Collaborating with the leadership team on a range of operational, finance and administrative requirements including secretariat supportProvide consistent, high-level and thoughtful leadership to enable the organisation to grow and excel in activities and functions KEY CRITERIA Desired Skills and Experience Substantial experience in a similar management level role within a growing organisationProven experience implementing and managing cloud-based ERP JMS and CRM highly desirableExperience within construction or professional services industry highly desirableProven experience and knowledge in finance, bookkeeping and administrationExceptional knowledge and best practice usage of accounting and business software including Microsoft 360, Xero and Adobe Suite as a minimumStrong understanding and or passion for cycling and trails highly desirable You will have the following key attributes Proven experience and tendency to want to create and improve systems and processesPreference for structured work but with willingness and ability to be agile when requiredExceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsVery strong leadership, time management and organisational skillsDemonstrated ability to work to multiple and often competing priorities and deadlines effectively ABOUT US What we offer you An opportunity to join a progressive, fast-growing business in a pivotal and influential roleA hardworking, fun-loving team culture, where we do a great job because we support one anotherClients and projects that will energise you We push the boundaries to design and construct innovative walk and mountain bike trails, pump tracks, skills parks and play spaces across AustraliaFlexible working hours by agreementOpportunity to work remotely part time for the right candidateOutstanding mentorship from recognised industry leaders Who we are Our work is exciting, it s challenging and it s fast-paced.
