We are a growing mechanical engineering company who provides integrated process and mechanical services to the international energy market.Privately owned and established in 2002, the company is results driven and provides high quality service with an uncomprising focus on safety.We have an immediate requirement for a Workshop Diesel Fitter to assist in our workshop located in Jandakot WA. In order to be considered for the role you will have the following skill set Accountabilities include -Carrying out inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance to our equipment fleet Ensuring mechanical and electrical issues are resolved quickly and effectively to cut downtimeCarrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed Must have understanding of hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems Must be Able to read schematics, Engineering drawings and Electrical Drawings Basic Welding Stick, Mig, Tig For you to achieve outstanding results in this position, your experience must include the following -Recognised Trade Certificate in Heavy Diesel Fitting Minimum 5 years Experience Experience working on Atlas Copco, Sullair CompressorsExtensive Knowledge of Caterpillar C15 and Detroit 2 Stroke Engines Forklift, Dogging and Basic Rigging licencesCurrent manual driver licenceThe successful candidates must have and be able to demonstrate the following -Have a positive attitudeAbility to work in a team focused environmentAble to travel to site and work weekends as Required Follow Workplace Occupational Health Safety OHS protocols.AdvantageousExperience in Stripping, Assessing and repair of Diaphragm, Piston, Centrifugal Pumps.Understanding of Nitrogen Pumps, Membranes and Leak Testing Documentation requiredResume outlining all skills and experiences2 x current work refereesBirth Certificate or PassportDrivers LicenceTrade CertificateTeam Work is important to our Company.
