Only 3 years into the student space and already being awarded #2 graduate employer in Australia by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers shows that we ve only achieved 1 of the opportunities and impact we can have in developing the next generation of Canva s workforce. You will help share Canva s vision and mission to students across Australia and New Zealand. As well as nurture the creation of an early talent community within Canva to build a support network amongst the interns and graduates whilst they navigate their first steps at Canva. What you 'll do - Create and lead a comprehensive outreach strategy across various specialty areas in Australia and New Zealand. - Develop and implement events including program mapping, planning, budgeting, stakeholder buy-ins, logistics, messaging internal and external and developing content with Canvanauts to successfully meet event objectives. - Contribute to Canva s student programs talent brand across major social media platforms by creating interesting and informational web and collateral content. - Help build the early talent community within Canva by planning and delivering workshops and events. - Collect and interpret data to assess the impact of outreach initiatives and internal events. You 'll be a great fit for this role if you have - 2 years of experience in program event planning, operations or related role. - You re creative and driven, and not afraid to take on a new challenge and see it through, even when the next step isn t very clear. - You re a people person. Someone who is comfortable presenting and networking to large groups of people. - You value diversity and take pride in building a team that brings together diversity of thoughts, perspectives and expression. - Able to influence and work with a wide range of stakeholders. - You re a keen communicator. Whether it s over slack, through documentation, presentations or across social media. You like to ensure everyone is on the same page and engaged with the message being shared. - You ll have incredible organisational skills and attention to detail and be able to balance the big picture with getting the important things done. - Students are often available outside of standard business hours for events, so there are times where your work hours would be late into the evening. Once business travel resumes, you d also be available to travel interstate and overseas during the working week. - Experience working in or with student societies a bonus, although not essential.
