Working in a small team of HR professionals, you will engage and work with a range of Defence stakeholders. As an APS 6 Senior Investigator within the Directorate of Conduct and Performance you will have a considerable level of stakeholder engagement across the department with senior management, supervisors and employees. You will have sound judgement, exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record in collaborating to achieve quality outcomes.
The APS 6 Senior Investigator is accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex investigation work within an integrated workforce. You are accountable to ensure you have knowledge of and are compliant with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.
You will work effectively in a high performing team and be able to exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures consistent with the APS Code of Conduct and adherence to the APS and Defence Values.
About our Team
The Conduct and Performance team provides advice and guidance on conduct and performance management issues. It investigates suspected breaches of the APS Code of Conduct and administers and facilitates the management of poor performance of APS employees.
This unique and exciting role requires a high level of attention to detail resilience and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one given time.
