Eligibility Open to Everyone - Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network - South Coast District Hospital, Victor Harbor - Total Indicative Remuneration RN M1 75,207 - 102,617 Pro-rata - Permanent Part-time position working 24 hours per week over a 6 day roster Joining our small team within a beautiful coastal location, you will assist with the provision of professional high quality renal dialysis services at the South Coast District Hospital in Victor Harbor. Assessing individual patient needs, you will plan, implement or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options. You will also provide health education, counselling and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups. Along with providing dialysis services to patients, you will mentor less experienced staff and support the Associate Clinical Services Coordinator in managing the service. South Coast District Hospital provides a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services to patients from across the Fleurieu Peninsula and surrounding communities. Our hospital provides 24-hour emergency care and acute inpatient medical and surgical services. These include day surgery, maternity and obstetric care, palliative care, cancer care, renal dialysis and cardiac rehabilitation and pulmonary rehabilitation. You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated competence in renal dialysis nursing in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will have worked before in a rural or satellite setting. With the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting. Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills will hold you in good stead for this role. Employees classified at this level provide nursing and or midwifery services in health service settings. Employees working within this level develop from novice practitioners to a proficient level of professional practice. They consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience. An employee at this level accepts accountability for his or her own standards of nursing midwifery care and for activities delegated to others. Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and compliant immunisation screening.
