We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Quality Manager to join our global project team on a complex EPC Project. This role will be based in Brisbane, reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager and providing quality assurance services and functional support. About the role Develop, keep updated and implement Quality Plans, Prequalification procedures, and Audits procedures. Assure the quality of project deliverables through an overview of quality control activities such as Quality Plans, prequalification, vendor assessment, audits, ITPs, material and equipment control, welding process control, erection installation process control, etc. Seek clarification with engineering on any technical issues queries or NCRs and resolution of same as they arise. Provide quality assurance of vendor and supplier outputs by monitoring the surveillance program, including the management of independent inspection agencies where appropriate. Provide occasional hands-on project support when required for brief periods. Preparation of Project quality report and collation of statistics on NCRs, audits and other quality-related KPIs. About you Bachelor s degree with engineering qualifications, Quality Assurance Accreditation Minimum 10 total experience in EPC or EPCM projects will be preferred. Previous experience with project and site-based quality roles, including Project Quality Management, vendor qualification, inspection, and or site QC. Previous experience in a quality system based on ISO 9001. Team management and leadership experience as leader of a team of QA QC professionals. Understanding of quality control requirements in a diverse engineering environment. Commitment to the project technical and business requirements.
