Excellent opportunity to support the the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, School of ScienceAbout the JobAs our new Senior Technical Officer you will be responsible for supporting research activities within the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, School of Science Swinburne University. The successful candidate will have a background in Chemistry with experience in analytical instrumentation. About you To be successful in the role, you will have An Undergraduate Science Degree Chemistry preferable and subsequent relevant experience in research. Extensive experience in laboratory operations, following SOP s and safety polices. Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the operation of a wide range of analytical equipment specifically NMR, Chromatography and Mass Spectometry. Extensive experience in chemical management in relation to technical and laboratory operations, including an understanding of statutory requirements associated withchemical hazards.A full list of selection criteria is available within the position description.
