Full time permanent opportunity Partner with Compliance team to act as SME Performing the monitoring activities relating to employees personal trading A bit about the role Reporting to the Head of Specialised Compliance, we are currently looking for a Control Room Analyst to join our highly regarded Compliance team in our head office in Sydney. The role is responsible for performing the monitoring activities relating to employees personal trading, Gifts Hospitality, Alternative Investments Outside Interests, in order to identify any existing or potential Conflict of Interest, Market Abuse or Corruption behaviour. This includes but is not limited to daily operations of the Control Room, development, implementation, and maintenance of associated policies and procedures especially concerning monitoring activities, investigation and tracking of incidents and breaches related to the Control Room function. This role supports the Specialised Compliance Team activities to ensure best practice standards are implemented across Region Australia, New Zealand, meeting local and global legislation as well as global requirements. Key responsibilities and accountabilities Monitoring activities relating to employees personal trading, Gifts Hospitality, Alternative Investments Outside Interests, in order to identify any existing or potential Conflict of Interest, Market Abuse or Corruption behaviour. Draft monitoring reports for management regarding identified breaches, findings and recommendations, for board and committee reporting. Collaborate with business units to incorporate compliance strategies into their business strategies Assist in monitoring insider designation and communicating requirements to insiders in line with internal policies, standards and procedures. Work with Control Room officers on specific projects or BAU tasks. Support the Control Room team to perform monitoring and surveillance of the global system ClientLink our global Wholesale client management system . Support the Control Room team in deal and transaction clearance procedures. Assist the Control Room team to maintain up-to-date policies, standards, procedures and manuals. Assist in preparation and delivery of compliance training for employees What we are looking for To be successful in this role you will Have a minimum 2-3 years experience within control room or compliance in a comparable role within global banking and a keen interest in anthropology of finance Previous experience in compliance audit regulator risk management related activities. Have good understanding of the Australian and New Zealand Market and Conduct regulatory environment and requirements Be willing to initiate difficult conversations when necessary and manage stakeholder expectations Previous experience in Control Room or Conflict of Interest Management desirable Our Values, Vision and Mission Rabobank Australia fully embraces inclusion and belonging and delivers positive experiences for our people and clients.
