Reporting to the Manager Clinical Learning and Development you will enhance the professional development and capability staff through the facilitation of education, and support graduate, transition and student placement programs. The position requires you to work within a large, diverse and sometimes remote workforce and is a permanent full-time position. About your role Development and delivery of learning programs to meet the demands of a changing working environment Assist in the identification of relevant training needs to influence the delivery of meaningful training Establish effective working relationships with key clients and encourage operational managers to improve staff skill sets and quality of performance through relevant training and development Develop and maintain excellent internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure successful implementation of staff training, graduate, transition, and student placement programs. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local education providers Provide support, mentorship and performance guidance and evaluation to graduates and their managers Demonstrate clinical expertise and professional role modelling to graduates as required You will be required to travel inter and intrastate and when travelling locally, will be reimbursed for the use of your own car. What do we need from you Excellent learning delivery and facilitation skills using adult learning theory Excellent written oral communication skills, including the ability to liaise and negotiate at all levels within the service Demonstrated commitment to maintaining competency as a registered nurse Demonstrated competence in aged care including chronic disease management Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate clinical education and learning programs Demonstrated ability to monitor, implement and modify quality improvements within a healthcare setting Qualifications Registered Nurse Division 1 Certificate IV in Training and Education desirable Importantly, you will mirror our values of Customer Satisfaction Accountability Continuous Improvement and Teamwork in all aspects of your work.
