Part-Time Position Clayfield College is a leading independent day and boarding school, owned and governed by the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association PMSA on behalf of the Presbyterian and Uniting Churches. It is co-educational from Pre-Prep to Year 6, girls only from Year 7 to Year 12 and boarding for girls from Year 5 to Year 12. We are looking for a well-organised and highly motivated person to join the Finance team in a permanent part-time role. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and will be a proven performer in a team environment. Reporting to the Accountant, key responsibilities involve Accounts Receivable, General Ledger processing and reporting and administration duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a high calibre and experienced Accounts Officer to contribute to the strategic vision of a dynamic independent school. Qualifications, Experience and Skills required for the role The ideal candidate will possess the following Accounting or book keeping experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger reconciliations and payroll processing Demonstrated customer service focus Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students and parents Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience within an educational environment desirable Effective problem-solving skills Must be reliable and able to maintain confidentiality at all times and monitor a level of disclosure on financial and sensitive matters An ability to work collaboratively and respectfully as part of a team and autonomously within a team environment Possess sound judgement and critical thinking skills. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Salary is in accordance with the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association Enterprise Agreement 2017.
