About Us The Department of Justice and Community Safety the department delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria. The People and Workplace Services business unit provides a range of services supporting our people and workplaces. It is responsible for human resources, payroll, recruitment, occupational health and safety, industrial relations, workforce planning and employment regulations. The business unit provides an efficient working environment for staff through the delivery of a range of support functions. About the Role The Recruitment Services branch within People and Workplace Services provides expert advice and support to the department on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices. Working within the Department of Justice and Community Safety's' the department strategic objective of building a high performing justice system , Recruitment Services delivers consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the Recruitment Campaigns Adviser effectively manages delivery of state-wide high-volume, offender facing recruitment and selection campaigns using consistent and merit-based selection processes. The role effectively partners with hiring managers and external providers to screen and select high quality candidates by attracting talent, developing best practice selection methodology, developing campaign delivery plans, monitoring performance and quality of process being administered, develop and recommend contingency strategies to meet forecasted requirements and escalate any service provider non-compliance or performance issues to the Assistant Manager in a timely manner. 1x Full Time role until 31 December 2021 1x Part Time 0.8 FTE role for 6 months Benefits 2x fixed term position as a member of the Victorian Public Service VPS Competitive salaries, generous leave entitlements, including annual leave loading, COVID-19 leave, and the opportunity to purchase additional leave Professional development including support and training tailored towards your goals Opportunities for career growth throughout the Department of Justice and Community Safety and the wider VPS network.
