We recognize the value of healthy, happy colleagues and promote a culture of care and wellbeing, offering a competitive range of health, wealth and lifestyle benefits which include - Gym membership - Car parking Wollongong only - Discounted insurances - Employee Assistance Program - Flexible working arrangements - Community Volunteer Leave We will count on you to - Ensure that Government reporting activities are submitted accurately and on time as per the relevant legislation, including review, validation and authorization of files. - Review and respond to queries and reporting errors and prepare appropriate responses and take the necessary actions to rectify issues. - Review concept papers and provide instructions for changes that may need to be implemented via projects. - Act as a subject matter expert SME for the team, ensuring you maintain up-to-date knowledge of superannuation reporting requirements by participating in regular training. - Ensure procedures and internal documentation are up-to-date and any changes are updated and communicated to the team in a timely manner. What you need to have - Certificate Diploma in Superannuation Management, or in a similar discipline or extensive industry experience. - Problem analysis and resolution skills with the ability to interpret information from the ATO and understand the impact on Mercer. - Intermediate excel understanding, with the ability to analyse large sets of data i.e. knowledge of basic formulas for example vlookup, IF statements and comparisons . - Ability to perform basic SQL database quires or a willingness to learn.
