The prime purpose of the Service coordinator role is to receive multiple Service Project handovers from our Service Manager and coordinate projects ensuring we deliver the scope of works Safely, to standard and delivered in full, on time and on budget. You will be the link from the sales stage to practical and financial completion for each project. This will include planning and coordination of a small site crew in conjunction with our Project Mangers to ensure availability and effective use of site labor and resources. You will build relationships with the site crew and client contacts. You will support our growth and business direction and work with Senior managers providing support for Safety QA and growth initiatives. You will be instrumental in developing the growth of the Service Division in conjunction with your direct manager. Management of all service plant, equipment, and assets, maintaining registers and ensuring such remains tested, tagged, and serviceable always will form part of the role. Although primarily office based, the role will consist of both office and site-based work activities site based survey measurements . This is a newly created role and will attract and suit a candidate willing to be challenged in a fast-paced environment. It would be beneficial and desirable if the candidate possesses Industrial water storage tank experience and knowledge however, progressive on the job training will be given to suitable applicants. Some experience in valves, controls, pipework, pumps, plantrooms, and hydraulics is beneficial. A positive person is required, willing to listen, learn, focus, grow, embrace daily challenges with a can do approach. Key Responsibilities Project Co-ordination of multiple Service projects which include Tank Cleaning Inspection, refurbishment work, Concrete Tank Fit out, Removal and replacement of tanks. Liaising with our client s, site crews to plan and schedule work. Arranging and issuing of service project audit reports and sending to client and sales team with detailed information and photos showing before and after photo's commentary and recommendations for repair, replace etc. Invoicing clients, approving supplier invoices. Managing project margins ensuring we are on track with budget and costs. Work in a safe manner always in conjunction with Tank Vision Policies, procedures, SWMS site rules. Maintain the highest levels of tidiness of project site throughout tasks and police the wearing of correct PPE and uniform. Perform final checks of tanks and service work when required to ensure no leaks are present iAuditor Report . Use iAuditor to perform presales site surveys for all our tank products to furnish the sales and estimating Teams with the correct scope and technical information to provide a quote. Ensure asset management list is completed for each project and fed back to Service Manager. Troubleshoot site problems, document and flag NCR s, corrective, and preventative actions. Ensure scope of work, inclusions and exclusions align and manage any variations to works. Ensure all inductions are organized in good time, site crew communication is timely and forthcoming, and that all SWMS are reviewed signed for each project prior to commencement and permits are in place. Perform regular documented Quality checks, plus photos and ensure site documentation is complete ITP s etc. and returned to the office. Maintain service crew equipment. Ensuring all site crews including yourself are fit for work and participate in random screening and medical tests. Manage rare, extraordinary events and troubleshoot. Ensure our clients are ready to commence work and where applicable that our clients have notified fire brigade and insurance prior to commencement of work. Ensuring our obligations around compliance with standards and codes such as AS1851, AS2304, AS3500, AS1170 and AS1657 are met. Provide brief written weekly report to Service Manager and GM on accomplishments, achievements, problems, solutions, observations, safety, and areas for continuous improvements. Selection Criteria Good skills in Microsoft word, Excel, Microsoft Projects. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Demonstrated knowledge in the creation of standard construction documentation SWMS, ITP s etc. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders including customers and staff Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and to maintain high quality work output under pressure i.e., restricted timelines, or budget Demonstrated basic problem solving and analytical skills Ability to travel Nationally although most work is Sydney based Full driver s license Valid confined space and working at heights tickets would be advantageous.
