Manager, Anti-Bribery & Corruption

This exciting role will provide the opportunity for you to influence and shape the Groups Anti-Bribery & Corruption (AB&C) policies, controls and risk appetite and engage with stakeholders across all regions and business lines. You will be able to apply AB&C knowledge across varied business activities and complex transactions. You will also be given the opportunity to participate in new and existing AB&C projects.

The role will sit within a Global Financial Crime Risk team based in Sydney, reporting to the Global Associate Director of Anti-Bribery & Corruption. As a Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the AB&C Global Programme.

The role

As a Manager you have broad duties that will cover:

  • Assisting with the implementation and oversight of the Global AB&C programme, including programme governance, policy development, training, oversight of monitoring and quality assurance.
  • Providing subject matter expertise in relation to all areas of the AB&C Programme and assisting with the overall enhancement of Groups AB&C framework.
  • Reviewing AB&C policies and procedures periodically and assist with the delivery and communication of new and revised policies and procedures, and the overall control framework liaison with impacted stakeholders.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the management and maintenance of the global AB&C framework including maintenance of AB&C policies and procedures, AB&C related training, monitoring and quality assurance and AB&C related issues that arise on a day to day basis.
  • Experience:

    To be successful, you will have;

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in AB&C compliance, working in industry, legal and/or regulatory environment.
  • Sound knowledge of applicable global AB&C laws, regulations and regulatory expectations in ANZ and Asia Pacific, and a good understanding of the US FCPA and the UK Bribery Act.
  • Proven experience in Policy and Procedure writing and designing training content,
  • Proven track record in excellent stakeholder management and building constructive partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Good time management and the ability to work independently
