Intrax is an end-to-end supplier of Engineering, Surveying and Geotechnical services to the building and land development industries. Founded in Victoria in 2003, we have grown rapidly into a large-sized engineering consultancy employing over 300 people across Australia and China.
Our Head Office is located in Melbourne CBD with further offices located throughout Australia and China, all serving our growing client list of leading residential builders, industrial and commercial development companies, government and urban land authorities, developers, and architects.
We are now looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team of talented Civil Engineers. The role will be based at our office in Dulwich.
Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

Civil engineering design for projects in land development, subdivision, utility services and building projects for commercial, residential, industrial and townhouse developments.

Liaising with clients, builders, architects, council and other authorities.

To be eligible for this role, you will need:

A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Engineering - Civil

5+ years of professional experience for Civil engineering projects in with at least 2 years in Australia

Experience in 3D design (to WSAA standards and SA water) of: road, pavement, drainage (incl OSD), earthworks, sewer/water reticulation and major services infrastructure.

Hands-on knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads and other relevant authority standards for road and drainage design

Understanding of land development concepts, experience in subdivision design, stormwater and WSUD.

Construction auditing experience/ability for sewer and water projects (as recognized by CWW, YVW).

Excellent skills in 3D modelling and presentation (in Civil 3D and AutoCAD) for earthworks, road, drainage, sewer and pavement design and ability to train younger engineers

The role will require liaison with clients, drafters, builders, architects, council and other authorities

Demonstrated business acumen is desirable

Project management, contract administration and construction supervision experience (desirable)
