  • The Pre-Sales Specialist will be required to support the sales and marketing process of TrakCare Laboratory products globally to ensure increased sales revenue.
  • The Pre-Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales team through the customer lifecycle, starting with Discovery all the way through to account management and Sustain.
  • The Pre-Sales Specialist will be required to work alongside all levels of the executive, procurement and end-user teams within the customer’s site.
  • The Pre-Sales Specialist will be required to communicate with both customer and InterSystems technical teams to ensure they fully comprehend the capabilities of the application and can demonstrate the features and benefits.
  • The Pre-Sales Specialist will be required to work with the implementation team to ensure that the functionality demonstrated and responded as available in the requirements responses to customers are implemented.
  • Key Responsibilities

    To Support Sales personnel in all sales activities to increase sales revenue

  • Organising sales visits
  • Undertaking sales visits
  • Participating in contract meetings
  • T o Increase produc t awareness and product capabilities with both prospective and current customers through the development and execution of a marketing plan

  • Organising conferences
  • Attending conferences
  • To progress client interest to the next stage of the sales process

  • Arranging site visits for potential customers
  • Preparing site for the visitors’ requirements
  • Being present at the site visit
  • To collate market information

  • Keeping up to date with international health trends and independent provider requirements
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of typical relevant health IT standards and strategies
  • To co-ordinate and assist with answering requirements responses

  • Completing the responses to requirements requests
  • Creating and maintaining a database of answers related to requirements questions.
  • To carry out sales application demonstrations

  • Demonstrating TrakCare and embedded applications software to prospective clients
  • Ensuring all information for producing a quality presentation is acquired.
  • Formulating and executing a comprehensive plan for presentation.
  • Providing detailed and coherent responses to user’s questions about the solution
  • Providing a documented demonstration report for after each demonstration and customer interaction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners to support the sales process

  • Help with the preparation of Sales Demonstrations
  • Completing response documents
  • Advising on the products ability to meet contract obligations.
  • Functionality feedback and development

  • Give feedback from customers and prospects on requirements for requests for change and new functionality
  • Liaising with the TrakCare product and development team to ensure the development designs and plans meet the needs for hospital workflows and legislative requirements.
  • Training

  • Discussing actual training needs of new sales staff and training staff on the product.
  • Experience

  • 5 years’ experience as a healthcare professional within the mainstream clinical environment (preferably within the Clinical Laboratory)
  • Previous experience in a comparable pre-sales role for a competitor or associate.
  • A strong comprehension of software and applications combined with an interested and analytical approach to IT.
  • A high level of skill using MS Office (particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Proficient and confident in the demonstration of software applications
  • Experienced in customer focused sales and support.
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver results as required within specific time frames.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to conduct training and develop training materials
  • Ability to work within a team in a cross-cultural environment
  • Keen to learn new technologies and new applications.
  • Available for out of office hours work and willing to travel
  • Qualifications

  • Certification / Diploma / Degree in life sciences subject or equivalent healthcare professional education
