An exciting opportunity has become available for Field Sales Representative, based out of our Tennyson facility. The purpose of this role is to maximise and grow profitability through customer analysis, service levels and the achievement of agreed volume margin and growth within a defined territory. To provide of all relevant business support commercial and technical to meet business and customer requirements. Key accountabilities include Participate in achieving budget and business objectives for designated territory. Identify customer requirements and develop plans for growth. Delivery of sales targets. Grow existing client base. Grow product portfolio in the designated territory. Identify opportunities to support ongoing sales growth. Participation in Sales team meetings. Ongoing monitoring of market, industry and bakery trends. Recording and reporting of competitor activity. Work within a team environment and participate in a proactive manner. Foster a safe working environment by improving occupational health and safety awareness and performance. Management and control of pricing and profit maximisation within delegation limits. Submit monthly reports on business performance targets. The successful applicant will possess Tertiary qualifications in Business or relevant subject desirable. Trade qualified baker pastry cook desirable. Min. 3 - 5 years territory sales merchandising experience in the baking or food ingredients industry preferred. Proven commercial acumen gained through territory management experience. Excellent business disciplines. Accountability for results with a client orientation. Able to communicate with managers and operatives at all levels and a proven team player across organisational lines. Sound IT skills. Self managed, motivated and energetic with effective relationship skills. A team person with superior communications skills. Valid drivers licence.
