You will be configuring, maintaining and supporting the network and communications infrastructure, related applications and security of the systems ensuring services are operating according to agreed service levels, thereby providing reliable and effective services to the Wilson GroupKey responsibilities include Engaging incident, request, change, problem and other service management processes as appropriate Installation, configuration, migrations and management of network and communications equipment Effectively maintain the network and communications infrastructure for high availability and reliability Ensuring all Network and Communications systems are secure and recoverable adhering to patch management and backup policy Monitoring the performance of the Wilson's communications carrier network providers in relation to established service level agreements SLA's and business needs Managing the analysis of network traffic data and providing recommendations on performance improvements to voice and data infrastructure and services Review and assist with project activities when required Maintaining effective communications with customers and vendors Act as an escalation point, collaborate and mentor other team members when required and actively contribute to the team Knowledgebase Identifying and raising improvement opportunities via the IT Operations ManagerABOUT YOUWe are seeking for candidate who possess the following skills and experience. Essential Relevant Current Cisco Certifications - CCNA, CCNP 5 Years in Network Engineer or similar role Extensive experience and specialist skills in the configuration and maintenance of networking communications infrastructure, including the ability to support a variety of technologies 5 years' experience in securing, deployment, and supporting corporate and operational networks Cisco CCNP Routing and Switching Knowledge and experience in Mitel including call centre and Cisco Security products Knowledge and understanding of the incident response process Proven history of working in a position of trust. Great attention to detail and problem solving with ability to work under minimal supervision. Demonstrated experience in liaising and managing successful outcomes with third party vendors Strong understanding of emerging technologies in the networking and communications sphere and their potential commercial application Strong people skills and the ability to be resourceful, as well as to make concise, independent and defensible decisions in often fast paced situations Assumes responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments, tasks and commitments, setting high standards of performance for them self and others Strong organizational skills which allow simultaneous completion of tasks and dutiesDesired ITIL v3 Foundation University degree or diploma in information technology, computer science and or related discipline Proven experience supporting SD-Wan infrastructure AWS networking fundamentalsHOW TO APPLYPlease submit your resume and cover letter summarising your experience as soon as possible - shortlist will be commencing shortly.
