If you want to make a healthy difference everyday - for yourself and others - then we want to hear from you.The opportunity In this role as an Actuarial Analyst, you will be a key contributor to the delivery of the implementation of the IFRS17 accounting standards including financial impact analysis. Project Halley is AIA s IFRS17 implementation project and this role will be a 12-month max term contract with the view to extend. Applications from Sydney and Melbourne are being considered.To do this successfully you will Review IFRS17 technical and solution guidance provided by AIA GroupSupport practical implementation work including business requirements specification for data and local modelling workPerform testing of Halley solution for local and GO componentsSupport Financial Impact AssessmentContribute to other project work as delegated by managerSuccessful applications will demonstrate Studying Part 2 or Part 3 actuarial subjects from the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, or similar professional bodyDemonstrated and practical actuarial valuation experience in life insuranceStrong analytical expertise and attention to detail. Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skillsDetailed knowledge of actuarial processes such as valuation, pricing and experience investigationsUnderstanding of the interaction of cashflows, capital, profit and value measures and driversKnowledge of Individual and Group Risk InsuranceKnowledge of the Australian life insurance, life prudential standards, tax and legislationWhy choose AIA At AIA, we ve made a promise to help people live healthier, longer, better lives.
