Accountant BookkeeperOur growing Company owns and runs a diverse range of nationally recognised market leading businesses across Australia. We have a position available for qualified accountant or experienced senior bookkeeper to join our accounts team on a full time basis. As our businesses are retail and online shopping focused, experience in these areas would be a real advantage.The role is very hands on with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, multiple bank reconciliations and completing all other tasks that come with a national retail sales organisation.To be considered for this role you will need to - Demonstrate advanced PRONTO ERP System , MYOB, Quick Books or similar knowledge - Have 3 - 5 years practical accounting department experience, - Enjoy and understand the value of working as one of the fast-paced accounts team. - Show attention to detail and a 'can do ' attitude. - Have comprehensive bookkeeping accounts officer knowledge - Experience in End of Month EOM procedures - Be proficient in reconciling high volumes of invoices as part of the creditor s reconciliation. - Have advanced Excel Skills i.e. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF ability - Manage high volumes of sales transactions across multiple stores, bank accounts and payment gateways as part of bank reconciliation process. - Be able to assist in the maintenance of individual store cost centres and the preparation of internal reports and General Ledger maintenance. - Have an understanding of Superannuation, payroll tax WorkCover commitments. - Prepare any other monthly reports that may be required by senior management. - Have excellent communication and people skills. - Have the ability to work under pressure and meet daily and monthly deadlines. - Be proficient in all aspects of Bookkeeping Accounts procedures. - Have great interpersonal skills, friendly disposition, the ability to work with all personality types and liaise with all levels of Management.Duties include but not limited to - Entering of supplier 's purchase transactions - Management of petty cash accounts, credit card statements other day to day activities. - Month End journals and reconciliations - Bank reconciliations - multiple accounts and payment gateways. - Financial reporting and analysis as required on a Monthly, Qtrly, Yearly basis - Liaison with external auditor - Assisting and supporting others in the Accounts Team and Snr.
