ERM is recruiting for a Senior Consultant - Contaminated Land and Site Investigation. This position is based in Melbourne and represents an exciting opportunity for an individual looking for career advancementThis role is focused on delivery and management of projects predominantly in contaminated site assessment auditing support and rehabilitation at mine sites, landfills, and power generating, chemical, and oil and gas facilities as required in Victoria, across Australia and in Asia Pacific. The role will also include the expectation of supporting and developing staff in this technical area.ROLE PROFILE To support the successful delivery of ERM projects and objectives by - Understanding client needs and delivering sustainable outcomes and closures - Initiating and leading sales efforts, including proactive business development, proposal writing and delivery- Managing contaminated land projects. Landfill experience and or working in support of EPA appointed auditors highly regarded but not essential.- Overseeing and reviewing the compilation of complete project report drafts- Managing multiple project teams or junior resourcesRequirements - Bachelor or Master s degree in earth science, environmental science, engineering, planning or related field.- 6 years of consulting experience with technical delivery of groundwater related projects at mines, landfills, contaminated sites, and other facilities. Project management experience in contaminated sites projects. - The preferred candidate would have some client contacts and a sound knowledge of the local market on which to build.- Understanding of local regulatory context, including established relationships with regulatory stakeholders.- Business acumen to understand business risk and challenges, and recognise corporate opportunities.- Demonstrable track record in delivering business results annually, including successfully contributing to key projects.- Proven experience mentoring and growing a team of consultants- Authorisation to work in Australia and current driver 's licence Who We Are As the world s leading sustainability consulting firm, ERM is uniquely positioned to contribute to the environment and society through the expertise and energy of our employees worldwide.
