The primary responsibility of the Financial Analyst APAC is to prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and analyses and to support month quarter year end close activities for the AsiaPac region. Day-to-day activities include working with AsiaPac operational teams to prepare various management reports, assistance with forecasting and budgeting as well as month quarter year end close, which includes assisting with preparation and maintenance of reports to our parent company, reconciliation and review of intercompany account balances and reviewing numbers loaded to Hyperion such as vendor support data. The main challenges for the Financial Analyst APAC will be meeting multiple deadlines under pressure with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You must have strong and effective time management skills, be able to manage multiple tasks, and be a proactive problem solver. Duties Responsibilities - Preparation of Monthly reporting to Westcon International HO team including monthly Cash Flow forecast Capital model, CapEx forecast, HSBC Bank report, ARCC deck etc. - Preparation of additional quarterly, half-year and year-end reporting to WI HO team - Assistance with Month end close including review and upload to Hyperion of Renewals, global sales and selected support data for all AsiaPac entities - Reconciliation and review of intercompany account balances - Management of monthly quarterly Management Fee cross-charge process to allocate WI Datatec charges across the region - Preparation of monthly Net Working Capital metrics reports for APAC Credit Services Director - Preparation and development of various reports to support decision making for management team including Cloud, Services, Supply Chain and Sales Operations reporting - Preparation and follow up of reports to assist local finance teams to ensure key balance sheet accounts are reconciled and exposures identified. Accounts include Shipped not Billed, GRIR, SBA contra rebates receivable , CoOp Marketing funding receivables etc. - Supporting APAC Senior Financial Analyst with the forecasting and budgeting process - Management of annual Transfer Pricing cross-charge billing process - Maintenance and issue of monthly Finance timetable - Undertaking investigative work and research as required by management - Providing trouble-shooting support to local finance teams - Ad-hoc projects Skills and experience Skills - Solid understanding of accounting principles - Ability to analyse financial data and variances and provide insightful commentary - Strong Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills - Ability to prepare PowerPoint slides with commentary - Strong organisational and time management skills - Good problem-solving skills proven experience in recognising, understanding and solving problems - Team Player co-operative worker focused on team goals - Ability to work independently, with little supervision and high self-motivation and energy levels - SAP Hyperion experience an advantage Experience - Equivalent of 3 years minimum experience in a similar role - Accounting Degree or equivalent - CA CPA qualified or part qualified Show moreShow less
