The Role Opportunity We are currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced, well organised and resourceful SMP SUPERVISORS for ongoing work, leading crews in the successful delivery of our upcoming shutdowns, as well as various other projects in the Pilbara of WA. Reporting to the Shutdown Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring allocated work is completed on time and budget, through effective delegation, guidance and supervision of the blue collar crews. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to Gather and collate details, paperwork, specifications and resources to enable the successful execution of the work scope Closely supervise the completion of work, assisting, guiding and correcting as needed to meet the schedule Supervise and conduct visual inspections of work to ensure it meets required standards and client specifications Ensure compliance to company and client procedures, including safety, quality, environment, mobilisation etc Monitor progress and complete daily deliverables Investigate all incidents and address as necessary Direct, instruct, guide and drive the crew to complete assigned works in line with set timelines, standards and procedures Provide visible leadership, assisting the team with problem solving, removing roadblocks, addressing issues and keeping the crew on track To be successful in this role, you will require the following experience, qualifications and attributes 3 years leadership experience in a shutdown or similar environment Australian recognised Mechanical Boilermaker Trade Certificate Candidates who hold current Rio inductions will be highly regarded Understanding of the trades and disciplines involved in mine site operations A strong knowledge of, and commitment to, OH S Experience including fixed plant maintenance, repair and installation works on mine sites Strong leadership and communication skills, together with a commitment to achieving safety, quality and productivity targets A current Western Australian drivers licence Construction Industry Blue White Card Appointed Persons - Section 44 training What We Can Offer Competitive remuneration Ongoing shutdown project work opportunities Exposure to a variety of clients with up-skill career progression potential A close knit crew to enjoy working alongside Strong safety culture values WE RE FOCUSED ON IMPROVING YOUR SKILLS Every year at Aerison, we employ a significant number of workers across a range of project types and our focus is to continually hone the skills and improve the performance of these people.
