BAE Systems - Structural / FCAW Welder

Randstad is looking for Structural Welders for an immediate start!

We have a very exciting position doing maintenance work on the ANZAC Class Navy frigates. You'll be contracting down on the water, working for a world leader in defence. Details

  • ASAP start
  • Henderson/Naval Base location
  • Ongoing contract
  • 40 hours minimum per week, overtime in busier period, up to 50 hours
  • $41ph + standard penalties + superannuation

    • Requirements

  • Coded FCAW Welder
  • Structural Welding experience
  • C-Class drivers licence
  • White/Blue Card
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical

    • Weld Test

    You must be able to pass the following weld tests:

  • FCAW 3G vertical up butt welded both sides, 12mm plate
  • FCAW 4G overhead butt, welded both sides, 12mm plate
  • FCAW 2F down hand fillet weld, 12mm plate
