TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST The Company We are working closely with an established company founded in 1998 that provides ICT services to small to medium sized organisations in Australia, New Zealand, North America, and Europe. Due to growth, we are proud to be representing them to find their next team member, based in Darwin. The Role Provide pro-active incident resolution and service request management for applications, software, hardware and network systems, including user administration, for a range of clients in varying industries. There will be a need for the successful candidate to travel into SA WA from time to time, whilst splitting your time working from home and on client sites in and around Darwin. Responsibilities Provide remote technical support to customers via phone and remote connectivity solutions Provide onsite technical support in regional and remote areas, travel is required Provide accurate incident resolution and service request management, within established service levels Meeting agreed SLA s, operating level agreement OLA time frames, and exceeding customer s requirements and expectations. Managed incidents and service requests effectively ensuring information is captured in the service management system Ensuring data integrity with the management system for future reference and analysis, in line with ITIL principles Liaise with internal support teams and external service providers as required to resolve incidents and complete service requests, to ensure compliance with SLA s and OLA s Contribute to the development of internal knowledge base and maintain up to date documentation Securely maintain our clients operational and physical environments in line with the technologies security policies, standards and work practices Attend customer sites to assist with technical activities and or projects. Undertaking study training to gain approved Information Technology Certifications and Qualifications The successful candidate To be successful, you will possess the following key attributes Managed service provider MSP experience a definite advantage Essential technical skills and experience Microsoft 365 Advanced network troubleshooting UTM devices, switches, routers Remote management and monitoring tools Hyper-V and or VMWare A working knowledge of these will be well regarded Sharepoint Azure Database servers Service management systems or ticketing systems Advanced communication skills and ability to present technical information in a non-technical manner Superb rapport building skills An attention to detail that is second to none, and pride in the quality of work you produce Ability to work autonomously and part of a wider remote team Experience and understanding of the importance of documentation and logging time for all works A get the job done attitude and outstanding work ethic If you are not currently in Darwin, relocation assistance may be available.
