We are ranked 2nd in Asia Pacific and 27th in the world for Public Health and our research impacts the world's most pressing population and public health challenges.About This OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a health or Social Science graduate to join our School of Public Health. The project involves partnerships with community-based health services external to the University, including services in regional locations. Some travel within Queensland may be required. The number of hours of employment will vary over the course of the project 2021 22 and the position may suit someone interested in enrolling in further study including a research higher degree i.e. Master of Philosophy or Doctor of Philosophy .Our Ideal CandidateYou will have completed a tertiary degree in health or social sciences, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and or education training. You will also have an understanding of drug harm reduction and or public health principles and skills in project management including the ability to plan and prioritise tasks. The capacity to perform duties in an ethical, non-judgemental and culturally informed manner is essential for this role.
