Job Description Job Summary The Finance Business Analyst is a member of Australia finance team to support Australia finance business operations and achievement of AOP Free Cash Flows targets. This role is offering an exceptional opportunity to work within a progressive organization with a team of dedicated professionals. Job Responsibilities - Act as finance business partner to Australia Operations team. - Prepare and review BFC costing to ensure all cost are properly costed with reasonable margin. - Preparation of Letter of credit LC , performance bond PB or performance guarantee PG from tender. - Perform contract review according to ASC606 compliant revenue recognition method recommendation for submission for Rail-US review and approval. - Perform customer credit assessment and recommend for credit line. - Monitor and review WIP EAC BFC for all Australia projects and provide operations team heads-up when there is major costs variance shortfall or surplus . - Support the preparation of Australia financial cycles such as Long-Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Forecasts, and critical guiding measurables that will enable Australia business to achieve business objectives monitoring financial and business performance throughout the year. - Regularly reports business progress vs. financial metrics and updates management team on key initiatives. - Responsible for company fixed asset register maintenance and yearly Income Tax Return. - Managing Australia accounting activities such as inventory, fixed asset and project cost accounting to ensure a wide range of accounting policies and practices are being adhered and deployed to effectively and efficiently manage company assets and operations. - Additional ad-hoc projects, reporting and analysis necessary for financial management as assigned by immediate supervisor. - US Australia-GAAP compliance and Financial controls including SOX and internal external audit reviews - Back-office consolidation and process improvement. Qualifications - Bachelor s Degree in Accounting Commerce Business Administration - 5-10 years of experience, out of which minimum of 3 years in an international management team environment, preferably in a matrix organization structure. - Strong US Australia GAAP knowledge and accounting techniques - Previous experience in Baan LN, HFM HP reporting tool and analytical tools - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot table , Power Point, Outlook etc Additional Information Disclaimer The information about this job description given above has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
