The Role We are now seeking an energetic and driven person to join our five person supply chain team. Reporting to the General Manager, Supply Chain you will be responsible for leading our production buying and materials control. The role may suit an ambitious recent graduate with some supply chain experience looking to take the next step with their career or a more experienced supply chain professional who brings strategic buying and continuous improvement experience Key Responsibilities Update and input into the ERP MRP system and provide appropriate analysis and reporting for effective procurement Optimise purchasing volumes and stock levels to changing customer demand patterns Develop and manage key supplier relationships to assist with quality and cost outcomes for our customers Develop and implement strategies to secure advantageous terms from suppliers and deliver long term savings to drive HEG financial performance Regularly evaluate and review supplier performance Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure an efficient and effective supply chain Contribute positively to the overall business and supply chain team and be open to growth and personal development Skills and Experience Tertiary education or other relevant qualification 2 years experience in operations, procurement or planning roles ideally in a manufacturing environment Team player with strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships in a consultative manner Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate at all levels with internal and external stakeholders Willingness to take on new challenges, learn and be mentored in the role How to Apply Please provide a CV and cover letter with your application.
