About the Role

Passionate about helping customers protect their homes and assets they work so hard to get - then you need to apply for this role.

Coaching, training and all the support you need to become the next BOQ General Insurance Specialist, where you will work with our branches to protect the homes and cars of BOQ customers all over Australia. And if you have never worked in a Bank, that’s okay because insurance is insurance and the customer experience is what matters most.

So if you are looking for a change from being an Internal Account Executive or an Account Broker, or feel like personal lines is your calling – then this is the role for you.

This is a telephone based role, so you will have the flexibility of working both from home and/or a BOQ office. Open to applicants all over Australia.

About You

Passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience and helping customers protect the assets they work hard to secure, we are looking for someone who:-

  • Has previous experience helping customers understand their insurance needs and arranging new home, motor and landlords insurance policies for customer
  • is not afraid of the telephone – the role is both inbound and outbound (warm) calls to existing BOQ Banking customers;
  • has great conversation skills and telephone manner
  • is self-motivated and can work independently but also knows the role they play in the bigger team and can contribute to positive team culture;
  • is open to coaching and development to help them bring their best self to the role
  • isn’t afraid of change – as we are always looking for ways to improve our customer experience and our offering
  • gets excited about coming to work – like we do!; and

    • With the will to be amazing – we can coach to the skill (examples provided on request!)
