This is a new opportunity to work directly with the Chief Executive Officer to design the change strategy, modernise service delivery and build a culture of continuous improvement through applying the Australian Business Excellence Framework. About the Opportunity The Executive Manager of Transformation will be a key member of the Executive Team responsible for the delivery of Council s Strategic Plan and management of a small highly skilled division working on organisational wide change initiatives that drive business improvement. Key relationships include being a trusted and credible advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership team and providing expert advice, coaching and support to direct reports Business Improvement Coordinator, Organisational Development Coordinator and Internal Ombudsman. To be successful you will be a dynamic, passionate and future aware leader whose leadership journey to date demonstrates managerial courage to challenge the status quo and drive innovation. As a suitably qualified and experienced professional you will deliver solutions in new and more effective ways, whilst leading your team to overcome diverse and complex day to day problems. You are a natural communicator and relationship builder with an empathetic nature, a coaching mentality and a growth mindset. You will be a strong negotiator with the ability to influence outcomes and make decisions and recommendations informed by data and analytics. Remuneration This is a full time, temporary 3-year contract role, with a total remuneration package of being negotiated with the successful applicant depending on skills and experience.
