Position Overview We are looking for a motivated HR assistant to join our Melbourne team and contribute to our growing Australian business. You will be part of the HR team and will work independently across a diverse range of HR and recruitment activities. To be successful, you will possess a desire to foster connected relationships with our stakeholders, and bring a proactive, innovative, collaborative and results-focused mindset. You will be a self-starter with a positive attitude who can work on assigned tasks while contributing to the larger HR team priorities. This is a casual opportunity for 16 20 hours per week, which would be ideal to fit around study or other commitments with flexible remote working conditions on offer. Salary range is 25- 27 per hour plus superannuation. Role Responsibilities Reporting to the ANZ HR Manager, you will also form part of the global HR team. In this role, you will gain invaluable exposure to the end-to-end HR function by Supporting the HR Manager in executing HR processes across the employee life cycle talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, payroll, offboarding, etc. Providing excellent customer service to employees and managers to address inquiries on processes or policy Coordinating training and development, compliance and reporting requirements Liaising with payroll teams and assisting with administering bi-monthly and annual payroll processes Preparing and issuing HR correspondence contracts, employee letters, etc. and managing regular compliance-based processes with managers probation dates, merit increases, etc. Updating and maintaining HR-related content including Employee Handbook, letter template library, calendar of events, etc. Proactively researching engagement initiatives and opportunities for improvement across the business Contributing to and supporting the development of ad hoc regional and global HR projects Required Skillsets To be successful for this opportunity, you must be able to satisfy the below criteria A suitable degree in Business, HR and or Psychology currently in your final year of studies or have recently graduated and looking to start developing practical experience and or some experience in an office environment within an administrative role Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand terms Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task Systems-oriented with an understanding of how processes are impacted by other areas of the business Highly proficient across the MS Office suite Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision A can do attitude and a passionate, enthusiastic, creative personality Our offer As part of a dynamic and growing global firm, you will work in a friendly and supportive team environment to help shape positive and inclusive outcomes for the business.
