About the role:


Reporting to the Home Manager at Riverside Views Aged Care Home, located in Riverside TAS, we currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Operator to join our team!

Please note, all tools will be provided.

This is a part time position working 4 days / 30 hours per fortnight (specific days and times may be negotiated).

The successful applicants will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a previous Property Maintenance role, with a preferred trade qualification in either Electrical, Plumbing or Mechanical Services
  • A passion for Aged Care and have proven experience in an Aged Care environment
  • An understanding of Essential Services and Aged Care Compliance
  • Ability to manage competing priorities/schedules to set deadlines
  • Basic computer skills including using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • An enjoyment from helping people from all walks of life
