Web Ref KB190321 - MULT 12 month contract with the possibility of extension Canberra ACT, Melbourne VIC, Brisbane QLD or Adelaide SA Locations available Hourly rate of 55.00 - 65.00 plus superannuation OVERVIEW Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Project Officer to join their office at the APS6 level. Under limited supervision, you will coordinate a service improvement program of works to support high quality mental health service delivery. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting the teams, projects and clinical quality improvement activities with the provision of advice, strategies, plans, channels and deliverables Coordinating strategic planning for longer-term initiatives, including implementing web-based forums to enable clients to connect with key contacts Developing and maintaining documentation to track, monitor, report and contribute to the evaluation and integration of initiatives into business as usual Coordinating and developing advice, input, briefings, papers, submissions and correspondence Providing secretariat support as required EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High level of written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in a variety of IT systems, with the ability to work flexibly across multiple issues with limited guidance Complex stakeholder management experience Qualifications, skills and experience in mental health, psychology, social sciences, humanities or a related field plus experience in digital service delivery, change management, and project management would be highly regarded IMPORTANT TO NOTE This opportunity is within the Australian Public Service.
