Located in Canberra, an excellent opportunity now exists for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dedicated and high performing team. In this senior role you will be responsible for Business Operations and Account Management functions for a Tier 1 Federal Government account.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice review and management of invoice exceptions/issues, including management of the internal billing data collection process to ensure accurate end-to-end (E2E) customer billing and invoicing
  • Management of customer information requests related to contract charges
  • Management and tracking of vendor contracts and/or business commitments on an account
  • Assist Commercial Manager on annual budget set-up
  • Assist to ensure required cost controls, financial treatment and business processes are in place and managed
  • Support Sales Enablement & Sales Support functions/governance
  • Support the Account Governance Framework, hosting governance meetings with stakeholders as required
  • Reviewing and approving sales proposals and draft customer letters
  • Support management of account business risk mitigation strategies allocated by Commercial Manager
  • Work closely with Commercial team to drive continuous improvement across the account while maintain existing standard operating procedures
  • Be a key point of contact for common asset queries for the internal delivery team
  • Working with cross functional teams across DXC to ensure contractual compliance
  • Provide back-up to commercial team when needed

    To be considered, you must hold the following Qualifications and Skills:

  • University degree in either Business Management and or Information Technology
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT outsourcing business within Account Management, Delivery Management or Business Operations Functions
  • Australian Citizen and be eligible to gain a Federal Government baseline Security Clearance
  • High Competency proven in the following areas:

  • Understanding and interpreting IT contract language
  • Commercial management
  • Financial acumen (incl. billing & invoicing)
  • Ability to analyze IT project financials
  • Understanding of IT projects financial management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Sales & deal pursuit
