WHAT TO EXPECT AS AN ASSISTANT COORDINATOR
Reporting to the Coordinator, the essential purpose of this role is to assist and support the Coordinator in the delivery of best in market Outside School Hours Care promoting service excellence while supporting growth and maximising value. This will be achieved by, supporting and mentoring a high performing, skilled and engaged team of Educators within the service and by providing an inclusive and fun environment in which children are safe, engaged and well supervised. This position is required to be a Responsible Person at a service
The Assistant Coordinator will be responsible for the supervision of staff, children and OSHC service in the absence of the Coordinator.
The successful applicant must be available to work a minimum of 26.25 hours per week across the following times:
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This program will cater to Aubin Grove Primary students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and is located in the suburb of Aubin Grove, approximately 23 kilometres south of the Perth CBD. We pride ourselves in providing children with a fun and enjoyable experience. From exciting activities and healthy, nutritious snacks to caring, motivated staff, the program meets all our children’s needs within a safe, fun and stimulating environment.
Play is vital to children's well-being and sense of belonging and forms the basis of who they become in the future. Our ideal team member strongly reflects these qualities.
To be successful you will have a current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC), valid rights to work in Australia and experience in leading a small team of staff ideally within the children's services arena.
You will also hold a completed qualification from the below list of ACECQA approved qualifications for educators working with over preschool-age children:
