As a key member of our global R&D team , you will be based in Camberwell, Melbourne and be instrumental in our business transformation to become AI-first. You will work on our recently launched AI-Based Real-Time, Predictive Telematics Platform - TN360, that uses a scalable cloud ecosystem to connect data from sensors, cameras, mobile and third-party applications into real-time insights.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will assume technical responsibility for all stages of the software development process within the chapter’s area of expertise, supporting the delivery of high-quality solutions in support of the business, the voice of the customer and platform architectures. You will also determine the working methodology within the chapter, and coach and support team members.

To break it down, you will be the Mobile Chapter Lead and:

  • Manage a technical chapter and develop high professional capability across the chapter.
  • Code, test, and deploy new software products using a variety of technologies and platforms.
  • Maintain existing products, including bug fixes and feature enhancements.
  • Build relationships with Product Owners and other stakeholders to promote the work of the chapter.
  • Align priorities and systems to serve customers’ needs.
  • Promote and drive a passionate customer-focused culture by ensuring a strong focus on delivery, execution and the customer.

    The technical skills we see as critical to succeed in this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
  • Android Software Development experience using Java and Kotlin.
  • Strong understanding of Android Architecture Components, Android design patterns (MVVM) and publishing high-quality apps to Google Play.
  • Experience with Flutter or desire to learn would be a nice to have.
